The Music Libraries Trust is delighted to announce the publication of an Executive Summary report to share the results of our large-scale survey of music library users and staff in the UK and ireland in Summer 2020.

The MLT commissioned Dr. Michael Bonshor (Course Director and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield) to carry out the survey. Trustees wish the survey to provide evidence of the value of music libraries in the UK and Ireland and information about the music library services most needed now and in the future.
The Trust would like to acknowledge the support of the Postlethwaite Music Foundation who awarded a £1000 grant to support the data analysis part of the project. MLT funded the remainder of the project from existing funds; donations to support our work are always welcomed.
