Working visit to Kampala Music School, Uganda
The sum of £150 was awarded to Bridget Palmer (Royal Academy of Music) to contribute towards her expenses incurred during voluntary work with Kampala Music School, Uganda, in August 2008. Bridget gave training to the school’s music library staff and assisted with re-organisation of their music library.
Research Project: Music in the Artaria Ledgers, 1784-1827
In 2007 the Trust made an award of £920 to Dr. Rupert Ridgewell to fund a research trip to Vienna culminating in the paper Music in the Artaria Ledgers 1784-1827 presented at the Music and the Book Trade Conference held at the Foundling Museum on 1st-2nd December and the subsequent publication of the Proceedings.
